Get 2 dowel rods about 2ft long, make them into a cross and suspend under the landing gear. Tie the ball on using 4 pieces of string, one from each end of the rods, making a pyramid shape with the string...hey presto, steady ball! Ps; if you win, I want half please ;) Gunter.

Agreed Dave, but his service is top notch, quick postage, well packaged and come with wires attached and tested. I've also had quite a few connectors, boards, wire etc off him and it is all well priced.

Someone did post a link for a company that sells carbon sheet, tubes etc but I can't remember who it was...sorry. Why not order one, but in the meantime make one with aluminium and paint it black?

Very good! I know, it's difficult taking pics in the dark. Does the NE have a default setting for low light? Maybe worth a try.

I used to work at Smiths Manufacturing on the other side of Pinetown, not sure if you have heard of them? Valley of a thousand hills would be superb to take pics of, there is also the Kloof gorge, a few places in Hillcrest as well. There is a big community with a castle, lakes and a gold...

Thanks Orracle! I'm from Hillcrest, near Durbs, hence the SA support! The aluminium is all 2mm except for the bottom round plate which is 3mm. It all seems sturdy enough, the final test is when it flies! Gunter.

Boris, thanks for that, I will try and set it up when I install it. Can you also tell me, when it's in GPS mode, can you still fly it? ie when GPS hold is on, can you move it to a new position and when you let the sticks go, it stays there? Thanks, Gunter.
