I did try that myself at one time, the verdict was that it interfered with the yaw stability too much.

New GoPro Tilt and roll gimbal

That looks heavy. This is the gopro mount for the F1. it comprises of just two brackets that weigh just 10 grams. It is stabilised by a AMP-2 special edition that I have been working on and is in a different world. It has speed and accuracy. No prop.wash.

In my humble opinion Aerial Photography at the professional level is all about seeing more than just the record shot of what is there. This is what I call a gimbal test !

Here is what you need to start with. ArduIMU V3. it has the same sensor that I am using in the F1 which uses a special version of APM-2. APM-2 is backordered for some time yet so V3 is an alternative and Michael Oborne has some good code for it. I have not tried this yet but it should work just...

    S800 different design model?

I do have my doubts that this is all going to plan at this stage of development. I have seen it flying and it was not exactly rock solid. If one looks back at how they started, it may be that they just fell on their feet with the small Flamewheels and the WKM. The scale effect makes these small...
