    Triple Red Flash Insanity

Here in Cyprus we have to avoid the urban canyon as it looses GPS quite easily.

    Infinite rotation servos

If I could just throw another spanner in the works, we talked about micro stepper drives and torque motors in the past that can drive a gimbal. The DJI uses a CUI AMT102 encoder (made in the US) so it's a proper torque motor. The more you look at the Zenmuse the more you realize what goes into...

    Infinite rotation servos

Well Chris, what I did was to describe the effect of servo response in respect of changes in PWM signal with a continuous rotation servo. In answer to Kilbys question. The integration of stabilization is another story and can be achieved in more than one way. The servo has disadvantages...

    Infinite rotation servos

It really depends on weather the servo is modified for feedback or feed fwd. The servo only has one full speed regardless. but if it is working with the pot. locked then it's speed will be in proportion to the stick movement away from neutral, it will park in a new position as you return the...

Zenmuse Gimbal Z15 questions please help

I would suggest running only one battery. Short flights are better. One 11 amp. Maxamps will do the trick. or even one 5000 zippy.

    How crashworthy is Zenmuse?

Ah, Tim I see. I don't do fast shots. Maybe I'm just getting to old to keep up with the refresh rate of my brain these days. I like to keep pointed at what I am filming for some historical reasons I suppose.

    How crashworthy is Zenmuse?

I think the issue of having 360 deg. of pan movement is one that needs some explanation. In full size filming with a Cineflex we have 360 degrees but you never see the landing gear except in rare cases where some action is being followed around a race track etc. and some unusual event happens...

    SJ-800. Yes or No?

I don't think you will regret that purchase. Guess you will use the GH. It will work great straight out of the box. Rigidity- no matter how hard you try you wont be able to disturb the camera.:tennis:

Why not keep it simple and compare value for money. One product has no value whatsoever and is not fit for the advertised purpose of Rock Steady Gimbal Stabilization, the other one works... If it goes to court they will loose, it is that simple. Even if they make it work next week it will make...

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

Well your idea of well engineered is pathetic. The roll gear wheel is out of concentricity by about .030" the roll axis cannot be balanced. The roll axis cage flops back and forth about 1/8". All cables etc. have to be hung all over the place with no provision for any mass balanced installation...

    single rotor fpv

I don't have a photo because I just changed the motor but it just attaches to the final drive shaft at the tail with a right angle fixing. I am trying a much smaller higher KV motor now (2500KV) so that I can power it from a 2 cell battery that drives the servos. Main power comes from two 11 amp...

Well said Andrew I will be one to support any action. Not just against the Skyline but the AV 130 as well. It is not of merchantable quality and not fit for purpose.
