I was curious if anyone is running 5S lipo's on their S800. I have a bunch of 5S 8000's that are for my sky jib . I was hoping they would be ok for the S800. What would the downside of running 5S on the S800 be? I'm looking forward to see what some of you think about this.

This is starting to worry me. I had the same thing happen to a Naza F550 a couple months ago. Also had a friend with a wookong that took off. Each were while plugged into the laptop, changing normal gain settings. Pretty dang scary. This is deffinently something DJI should look into.

I do not worry about pairing. I simply bolt them and enjoy the smooth flight :)

My AUW on my F550 Heavy lift conversion is 4042 Grams. That is including the Droidworx Landing gear, AV130 Gimbal, Canon T2I, Axi 2814/22 motors, the conversion kit, and a 4S 8000mAh lipo. The copter flys pretty dang smooth with gains set 70-80. Flight time fully loaded is around 6:30.
