I'm trying to find a good price on some Xoar precision pair wooden props. I'm looking for 5 pairs of the 14x4 size for a Cinestar 8 with QC-3328 motors. I want 5 pairs because I like to keep a spare pair. The best price I've seen in Europe is about $37. Anyone seen prices close to this in...
The gimbal didn't have a board for stabilization. There was some post stabilization though. Hopefully, with the new HF Gimbal board, I won't have to do any post stabilization.
Highlight reel from a recent shoot at a museum.
Details: Hoverfly Pro, Cinestar 8, Cinestar 360 gimbal (no stabilization on this shoot), Panasonic GH2
Hope y'all like it.
Just flew in my front yard without a camera (my camera op has it at the moment). The leveling appears to be working well based off watching it from the ground with a low hover in my front yard. The conditioners are inline with the servo cables, covered in shrink wrap. They weigh nothing.
Yes, this looks to be a very good option. The one that I posted is fairly light, but the board is larger and less protected. It has worked without any problems. Next time I need one, I'll try the one that you linked.
Right now, I've got the tilt axis pretty dialed in base off my bench testing. Roll axis is getting there. When the rain clears out this afternoon, I'll do some flight testing.
Hoverfly sent me some signal conditioners for my Cinestar gimbal, and now the Hoverfly Gimbal board is working. I've started to tune the settings and have made great progress. I'm planning to use this on a shoot this Saturday. I'll report back here.
Big props to Hoverfly for coming through...
Major progress made today! I received the signal conditioners and they work. I've gotten started on tuning the settings and have already made great progress. With a bit more testing, we hope to use this board on a shoot this Saturday. Hoverfly definitely came through for me here.
I've been using the QC-3328 and they have performed well. I can't comment on the Tigers.

I bought 40 amp Turnigy Plush ESCs from this store in the USA. Shipping was super quick (and free), and the ESCs have performed very well on our Cinestar 8 with Hoverfly Pro board.

Another vote for the Futaba 8fg super. I've got two - one for me and one for my camera op. Very reliable and easy to program once you get the hang of it.
I got altitude hold working fine, but I haven't used it on a shoot. I'm a bit of a control freak, so I like to keep everything in manual. All of my shoots have been shot 100% manual flying mode, which works awesome with the Hoverfly / Cinestar combo.
