guess i dont understand what you are doing. not sure why you could not order the axi or avroto motors to begin with, then you would not have to upgrade later? not for sure, but i am guessing that the av130 will not fit in that landing gear.

for what its worth i had really good luck with the dji stock motors and setup that came with ARF kit. I am now moving on to some AXI motors but only because i want to fly a bigger payload. THe stock setup hauled around a hero 2, landing gear and gimble no problem though.

+1 on the props. i was absolutely blown away with the difference nicely balanced props make. I chased myself in circles (getting rid of jello) before i sat down one day and double checked the props. Props were the difference.

what is the ETA on contest details? I am hoping to use it as an excuse to up my editing skills and get some creativity juices flowing (speaking of things i have gone too long without):) i am certainly not a pro, but i play one on the flying field, so i am stoked to learn about this opportunity.
