Aeronavics / Droidworx Pete's VM-6 Hexa build blog...

Thanks for sharing your experience, Pete. I dig your colorful fleet. Did you use some sort of iron to heat up the film on the arms? I put film on the arms of our Cinestar using a heat gun with decent results, all while wondering if an iron would've worked a lot better. Let me know what you...

    FS700 shots

Replaced a couple of the carbon fiber tubes with longer tubes - pretty easy. We successfully flew the FS700 for the client - the commercial will air in December. We hope to share a few clips in a few weeks.

I ordered mine from overseas, but I think Aerial Media Pros sells them (they post on the forum sometimes and are US based).

"Riding The River" - aerial highlights (sports on the river)

It was some tricky flying. We should be able to post it again in a month. We had permission, but a small issue came up.

The demo reel for the camera is pretty slammin. Those folks know how to sell some cameras.

    Up for an award...

The irony is that the edit suite use to be my daughter's bedroom :tennis: (she has a bigger room now). People would likely be surprised to learn that some national TV shows are cut at an editor's house. Glad you enjoyed the video - we appreciate it.

Thanks Kloner! You've got me wanting to build a TBS Disco. When the time comes, I'll go on an FPV pilgrimage and seek out your wisdom. You're the man!

    FS700 shots

Continuing to move forward with flying this camera... We got the gimbal stretch finished, so we'll be able to handle the longer camera. The reason I went for the long flight time is for the shoot we've got lined up - it will make life easier with the unpredictable subject matter. Hope to share...

    CS8 for cinema

Tabb has been very supportive of our efforts from the very beginning, and I know him to be a very straightforward guy that is committed to building awesome products. I'm sure that this upcoming "Epic specific Cinestar" will be an impressive machine because he wouldn't release it otherwise.

    FS700 shots

I just ran a quick test this evening. I strapped a 5 pound plate to my gimbal (approximate weight of FS700+lens), wired up two 11,000mah MaxAmps batteries (4s) and got about 14 minutes of flight time. Looks like we'll be flying a FS700 very soon.
