    DJI F550 which replacement props?

I have an issue with the Graupners. While they fit right onto the DJIs, the threads on the DJI motor's prop adapter/shaft don't run deep enough to hold the Graupners tight. The hub on the graupner is shorter than the hub on the DJI props. How do you guys get around this? Do you use a washer or...

    Gimbal Jitters.

When you say the "BEC at the out of the box", do you mean the BEC thing that comes with the Naza, or do you mean some other UBEC? If this is the case I'll have to look at the gimbal section again and see about changing the voltage.

Hey thanks for the info. I didn't know I could play with dual rates on the Naza, Before this I had the Copter Control board. The Copter Control does not like dual rates or trim, it's all done in the GCS. This is great to know. My gimbal gains are at 20 I believe, I tried 30 but that was too...

Good point Animau, weight is an issue. @Carguy471, I found this diagram and it looks pretty easy.

I'm amazaed how similar your set up is to mine. :nevreness: You could also use a 6.6V 200mAh Li-Fe receiver pack to run the servos. I'm going to use my friend's pack to test it out.

Wow, that's cheep. I'll post a vid of the gimbal when I get home, but for now this will have to do. Keep in kind I have the Ear Plug dampeners mounted under the GoPro. http://youtu.be/Y0mee7lEWQ0 <a href="http://youtu.be/Y0mee7lEWQ0" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-size...

Hi all, I'm using the QuadFrame-dot-com gopro camera gimbal on my DIJi Naza F550. The Hex is really stable and vibration free. My servos for the gimbal are the Spektrum 3010 Sub micro Servos and I'm getting jitters from the servos that really show up in my video. Can any suggest a fix for...

    Gopro and Jello

So, which are you recommending? The ear plug or the silicone mat thing? They both look good to me.

    Hi From Ottawa, Canada

I've been on here for two days now and I'm really impressed with the help I've received so far. Thanks everyone. I've just started to use the DJI F550 with Naza + GPS. Prior to this I've been using a Hoverthings VC 550 Quad running on the Open Pilot CC board. The CC board was quite the...

    Toilet Bowl effect

Thanks Chinwai, I tried rotating the GPS ever so slightly and raised the Attitude gain slightly and now it seems to hold a position quite well. Thank you so much for the help. Tomorrow I'll add the landing gear/camera gimbal and tune it for the added weight. I should be doing FPV with this...

    Toilet Bowl effect

Everyone's advice has been gold. It's getting much better now and I'll continue to rase the gain until I get ocsilation and then back it off just a little. I have found something a little perplexing though and I may have missed it in the manual. When I switch to Altitude hold the quad slowly...

    Toilet Bowl effect

That make a ton of sense. As I remember from the the OpenPilot, Basic Gain (Kp) is the gain for stabilization and Attitude (Ki) is the gain for stick following. Must have take the settings off of Default and made them really low. Plus I had the same switch for Basic and Attitude so they were...

Here's another question. Should I have Basic Gain and Attitude Gain assigned to the same Remote Switch?

    Toilet Bowl effect

Thanks fore the Gouge. The thing is, I didn't change my gains. All I did was move Aux 2 from remote gains to Intelligent Orientation Control, I left Aux 1 for remote gains. (previously, I had both Aux 1 & 2 on remote gains; made sense to only use one switch for remote gains so I could free up...

    Toilet Bowl effect

New Problem OK, I made sure the GPS is facing in the right direction and calculate the X,Y,Z for placing the GPS. But now the quad is very slow to react in a little bit of wind and wobbles all over the place. Kind of a slow Oscilation. I'm running the Naza + GPS on a DJI RTF F550. Here is a...

    Toilet Bowl effect

I am getting toilet bowl effect in Attitude and GPS fail safe (mainly fail safe). I have the Naza box facing forward, but I was less careful with the way I mounted the GPS disk. I would love some help as I am used to using the OpenPilot CC board, but I have only had the Naza up and flying for...

    Naza GPS question

I'm getting the toilet bowl affect in GPS mode. Do you mean I have to set the GPS disk in the same orientaion as the Nasa box? I have the Naza box facing forward, but I was less careful with the way I mounted the GPS disk. I would love some help as I am used to using the OpenPilot CC board, but...

    Faulty NAZA?

I don't have the Naza yet, I expect it next week. I'm only guessing but it sounds like you've got vibration issues. Have you tried balancing your motors? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnjflLDxQQU), Also, have you tried balancing you props? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N02NHYrpA0g). Look for...
