I just spoke with Josh over at Allied Drones and placed my first order with him. I can tell already that it will be the first of many. He makes some smart mods for multi-rotors. I ordered his adapter plates for the AV200 to add some space to mount the necessary gear. Josh was very helpful...

Gave up. I put our spare Hoverfly Gimbal board on there instead - works great and was relatively easy to set up.

I've found the software to be very temperamental. I've got it barely working at this point. The roll axis isn't level on startup and trying to fine tune it just kills it. So I set the roll axis to slew mode to get it level. Problem is, when I tilt, it rolls slightly - that shouldn't...

I connected, blue light came on. I turned on the servos. The camera plate tilts slightly, then skyline flashes red. Software says "error condition". Thanks for helping me trouble shoot this.

Mine goes through the normal startup lights, tilts a bit, then goes to the red error light.

I took Nic Wilke's advice and adjusted the center points with the tray level and the belt/gear off. Then I saved those settings. Now when I start it up, it goes through the normal startup lights then tilts a bit, then goes to the blinking red light (error). I'm messaging with Nic as he has...

I'm only trying it because it was part of the prize package, so I figured I'd give it a go. People have gotten it to work well. Wonder what I was doing wrong?!

Same problem with our Skyline + AV200 setup. About to give up on it. I've followed the directions as closely as possible, but this thing seems hell bent on killing itself or just sitting there doing nothing. Folks have gotten it to work. Hopefully they can offer a solution.

We'll likely fly a GH2 on it. Once we get that working well, we'll test with some weights to see what is realistic for it to lift. I'll run it through eCalc to see what it should theoretically be able to handle.

I haven't tried any other props on it yet, but I'd like to for comparison. I can say that I went out today in some wind where I expected it to not fly well. And it flew SO GOOD. I was shocked. I'll try to get my hands on some APC SF soon (I have some but sized for the Cinestar).
