Whenever I see a racing video where there is no spec (aka mix of sizes/machines/etc) it seems the 250's always beat the 450's. But is it due to the size, setup or the skill? I did a shoot out video comparing two "typical" race setups on a 250 and 450. 250: 2204 2300kv/3s/6x4.5 450: 2212...

Any one of the Chine 250's. I paid $90 for my flip260 (g10) and $26 for a 250 that also supports 6" blades from myrcmart.com (CF).

That is a nice vid. Last weekend a guy raced with us the first time. He flew a blackout mini hex and he was very good. But a hex has 50% more props so crashes cost more. The quad guys killed 5 blades, he killed 17. With a complex tree course with slaloms, duck unders and thread the needles...

I fly a Flip260 that handles 6" blades without cutting into the frame. The original qav unfortunately only handles 5" blades and doesn't have an upper frame that is equal to the bottom to add protection the fpv cam. I just got a nice 250 frame from myrcmart that has the above features for $25...
