    Hoverfly Gimbal vs. Freefly Radian

The CS gimbal and the Radian are coming from the same company, and it is very likely that in the development and the following tests of the Radian, the CS gimbal was the "prince"....althought it should not be a problem to mix'n match Freefly stuff with Hoverfly stuff.....just the chances are...

Hello from a Canadian in Dubai

Hi Ray What you are going through at the moment is the frustration we all went through....it happens if you see all the beautiful stuff on vimeo or youtube, and your own efforts don't even come close to that. The Naza is not a bad Flight Controller, but the built-in gimbal controller is very...

REQUEST TO DJI: Photogrammetric GPS and IMU data

DJI acts like a stubborn old wife.....whatever she says is right, and whatever you are saying or wanting is bullsh... unless approved by the old lady..... ....data log recording is a feature what users are asking for now for a long time (and not difficult to implement) , but DJI thinks we don't...

    S800 retractable landing gear

Strange enough, but only with a bit digging (search on the DJI web-page for "retract" ) I found a bit more info on the retractable landing gear: http://www.dji-innovations.com/products/s800-retractable-landing-skid/overview/ Chris

    Herkules IV arrived at Kopterworx.

This is a relative statement with a few things to consider: There was a lot of time and efford which went into the development of this board, and AFAIK it's all done by Andreas himself. There is also the costs he has to lay out for the serial production of the board before he get's one cent...

    S800 retractable landing gear

At least it must have some sort of locking device in the "down" position, otherwise the whole weight will be on the servos to hold the legs in position....and then the legs will look like this: Chris

    S800 retractable landing gear

I guess since it is only driven by servos, you should be able to adjust the travel endpoints...unless there is some other little "electronic intelligence" involved, but looking at the image there are just two servo cables and the power cable....but maybe they have a little end-point switch in...
