    off topic, single rotor heli

Even if you use it as a paper weight on your desk ....just get it. What is $ 250 compared to this rare beauty....for that money you can't even get a silly DJI F450. As I sayed in another thread, HIROBO is the hell of a good Copter, lots of great details and engeneering...and the deal includes...

1 watt high power LED's for night/day orientation.

Don't forget to use a matching resistor....to make things easy, there are a few calculators: http://ledcalc.com/ http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz http://www.hebeiltd.com.cn/?p=zz.led.resistor.calculator Chris

Can I get a little soldering advice?

Not trying to be offensive, but if you try to solder wires from 4mm diameter upwards with a 15W iron, you spend the whole weekend trying to get the job done. What you want is to get the spot you are soldering hot enough to merge the solder and the wire together WITHOUT heating the whole cable...

Can I get a little soldering advice?

Maybe your 40Watt soldering iron is a bit weak....get at least a 60Watt iron....as Iris mentioned, you need the solder to melt quickly. If the soldering iron is too weak, you heat up the whole surrounding before solder and wire melt together. If your iron is too weak you normally can find out if...

Hi Ben, Hi kloner...Merry Christmas to you guys..... I see you have the Xoar Carbon blades...would be interesting to hear how they are compared to the DJI carbon blades from the S800 (wich are too soft and flimsy and cause a lot of vibratins) Chris PS: ....how can you ask "Mr. Smooth"...

Replay XD --> Immersion RC 600mw VTx. Live Feed Help needed.

I don't know your specific camera, but I guess it's with al HD cameras....you have to convert (compress) the video-signal to go through your Immersion 600mw and being sent down to your FatShark. The pure HDMI signal is just way too much data to be handled by the VTx/VRx..... The link with the...

    power requirements with secraft retracts

You could try to measure the internal resistance of your Lipo's ( if you can get your hands on the equipment) like in this post: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?7485-Measuring-internal-resistance-of-LiPo-s Make one test inside, and one test outside (flight conditions) other than...

Motors get twitchy when using carbon props

Depends what batteries you are using. Your motors are running on 800 rpm per Volt applied. So with a 3S LiPo you would get: 3,7V x 3 x 800 = 8880 rpm, with a 5S LiPo you get: 3,7V x 5 x 800 = 14800 rpm...that's a huge difference. Either try a LiPo with 1S less than you have at the moment, or try...

Check here: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?7739-All-up-weight-configuration-and-mounting-location/page2&highlight=all-up-weight In general - as Ferdinand pointed out - you have to adjust the gain settings (Manual page 21). No need for the complete calibration process...and if...
