Yep all is good. I can guarantee if I fire up the gimbal without the GH4 turned on first I almost never get a feed out. It's one of the many things / procedures I have developed as a result of my live view issues!

Mine nearly always starts recording as soon as it initialises. I stop it on the camera but the tx control remains functional.

As a package with the S900 it's hard to argue against the value. I wouldn't buy the Zen outright myself. Would save up for an M5. It does the job very well however.

Right just had a desktop fiddle. With the GH4 turned on the gimbal initialises in 1080p record format at any frame rate. As soon as I switch the resolution to 4k no matter what the frame rate i lose live view. Switch back to FHD and the live view returns. This is in NTSC with the HDMI record...

Ah I do remember this now. What a pain. I nearly always initialise with the camera already switched on and the resolution set to 1080p 60fps and then change from there. Today when I swapped to 4k with everything initialised I lost my live view. I'm on NTSC.

Latest issue for me- turn cam to 4k 25p and live view disappears no matter what the down convert is set to!
