In Canada it is 30 meters for uav's 2kg or less and 150 meters for 2kg-25kg. So at least we can fly phantoms in most areas. 500' in residential areas you would have to get permission from 100 neighbours. Doh!

@Jjjkkklll I think you need to do some load testing. If freefly says this will carry a red, I would have 100% confidence.

You need to use a reciever to calibrate those esc's independent of the flight control.

I would get the higher range one because 3mm s the smallest I use and torque should be around 12 in/lbs. You will find the tips if you google.

I know all about sleepy's problem. I will play off his misfortune and proceed carefully. I will take my time and use heat if necessary. I have replaced other dji antennas and none of them had adhesive inside the connector. I hope his was just an anomaly. Cheers.
