I have an Arris M680 quad I converted into an X8. The M680 performs very well with the SX... the only issue is in windy conditions when it gets a bit jerky. I've heard other pilots stating the same... they love the SX on a X8 until it gets windy. Considering that many pilots convert to an X8...

What do you guys think about converting one of these for a MR? They're getting good reviews, and @$699, not a bad deal if it can stabilize a GH4. Plus it's rated at 800 grams with the handle; remove it, and it may come in less than 700g.

I'm thinking of cutting my own CF plates and using rectangular aluminum booms for an X8 or flat hex. Jfro, where do you source your aluminum booms?
