    Wookong-M issue

You won't replicate the isssue running the motor static at 50%. You have to remember in flight,(hover) the esc's are consistently changing throttle. Current spikes, and changing loads are what your not going to see the way your testing.:)

    Wookong-M issue

Esc tone is normal for you to here at the motor. What do you mean by "burning out" ?? Unless they are mounted in direct prop wash, they definitely can be overheating, as moto suggested. To be safe I would replace them. Do you know how much current draw of each, and total of all motors in hover?

    Wookong-M issue

Sounds to me like a temperature warning or maybe an over current warning. Not sure.. check the manual. That's at least how the warnings work with my castles. Different patterns of beeping for different parameters.

It's getting interference from something. You don't have to calibrate every time. Only when you move it, or anything mounted close by. You should do a calibration if you fly it more then 300+ miles from home though.

FREEFLY Systems Freefly ALTA, RTF collapsible hexacopter

An X8 would still need plenty of thrust headroom to maintain a motor out carrying an epic. Which most don't at max auw.:)

Wow, I've never seen position accuracy that bad. You could try mounting it on one of the arms and try it. Did you do the compass dance after you moved it? It should fly just as well in gps or atti.:) Mine in atti floats around like a puck on an air hockey table, and it has the same flight...

Location Specific Issue Needs Our Collective minds for Solution

There is many many users flying the X without issue. They just don't visit the forums. There flying, not repairing or rebuilding.:)

XAircraft Super X different motor outputs

I don't know if you have telemetry and have live current reading. But your flight time should be a little longer, as the motors aren't fighting each other.

Location Specific Issue Needs Our Collective minds for Solution

It's real easy, just do i google search for each flight controller. It's not hard to see a pattern with a few, as in the "A2". Two years ago I spent three months researching FC's and the final Decision maker for me at that time was Kloner aka "Steve" ditching the A2. I spoke with him 2 months...

The lesson should be to avoid all DJI flight controllers.:D

Massive improvement! Bet it it flies a lot better? Now you need to move or raise the gps puck.

Storm Drone 6 vs DJI F450/F550

These make a slick looking/flying 450/550, and you can run larger props.:) http://www.aimdroix.com/V2%20Aluminum%20Arms.html

XAircraft Super X different motor outputs

Vibs are not causing it to not fly right. Maybe they could be better, but not having the aircraft in front of me to fly, it's subjective. Motors being out might be big part of vibrations that your speaking of. When you get it right, craft will yaw around left and right equally. As in won't...

XAircraft Super X different motor outputs

Motor alignment is off, you want to see 5% or less in a clean air hover. Have you pinned those motor mounts to the carbon tubes? If not, you need to do it as they will twist sooner or later. Compass also may need to be moved. Might be picking up some magnetic interference from the lipo. You...

Yes, i think it would be the cats meow! Being able to work in conjunction with SuperX graph's would greatly lower fine tuning time. I almost ordered the 50 amp lights , but didn't' want to go through re soldering everything or spending the money. Plus I stick with "if it ain't broke, don't fix...

Also, with the 50 amp and up castle's on certain series, they offer logging of all parameters. Do the KDE's log now?
