    Learning FPV

Mine looks a more like this. It is configurable though so i will probably set mine up a little different, but close enough to illustrate here. It's just enough for me without feeling like i'm beind distracted by flashing icons. It was important for me to learn to fly sans-OSD first though. I...

    Learning FPV

Thanks guys. Dave, I do have an OSD, but did not have it installed yet in this run. I'll actually be installing it this weekend (as long as I get the shipment I'm waiting on tomorrow). It's a Remzibi OSD that I found out about on DIYDrones.com. It shows altitude, battery voltage, direction &...

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Wow, lots of very nice work featured in here. Keep up the great work! I'm waiting for this weather to break so I can get a little more AP time in myself. I just started flying multi-rotors a few months ago (Jan), but I have some shots in my photo album if anyone is interested in looking...

    Learning FPV

Hey everyone, I just started to fly FPV with my 'Creep' tricopter a few weeks back and have about a dozen batteries of flight time so far. Below is a video that I wanted to share of my second time out. It's a little erratic, but this was the first flight on the new airframe and I was trying...

    Remzibi OSD

Has anyone here tried out the Remzibi OSD? I just got one and will be installing it next week. It features everything I currently need in an OSD at a great price. It has GPS, shows direction & distance home, altitude, battery levels and rate of speed. You can also tie it in with the...

Hey, they have free wi-fi now though! We could use that as a place to upload all the pics from the event. ;-)

    Near Earth Imaging Stills

Thanks, RHP. The tri on youtube is actually my old airframe. I just rebuilt it all with a carbon fiber frame I found over at RCGroups. It's much lighter now and handling much better.

    East Coast Fly-In?

aye. I can make that date work since it's so far out. As for a location, I have a few people in the area that I can talk to and see if anything turns up. No promises, but it's worth a shot. Possible locations that I might be able to get legal access to include a school sports field & a...

    Baltimore checking in

Thanks, Bart. I'm happy to see so many multi-rotor fliers in the area. I think it will be great to get together with others. Till now, I have never flown multis with anyone else, only a couple of other CP helis.

    Near Earth Imaging Stills

I'm really into shooting architecture & monuments myself, so both Baltimore & Philly have a wealth of locations. Baltimore in particular is great for monuments. It seems there is one on every other street. They range from the small statue on the corner to giant monuments like the Washington...

    Baltimore checking in

Hey Dave, Thanks, and yes, I do some manipulation in Photoshop. We are working on a project right now where we are getting these image printed to oversize canvas and then applying a layer clear along with some minor color enhancements. Hopefully we will be having a show in Baltimore sometime...

    Baltimore checking in

Hello Everyone, Just joined the forum and thought I would stop by here and say hello. My name is Terry Kilby and I'm from Baltimore, MD. I got into multirotors a few months back after flying CP helis for about a year. I was really interested in FPV/AP and saw this as the perfect platform...

    Near Earth Imaging Stills

Hey Redhotpearl, It's nice to see someone shooting images of Philly. I lived there for 9 years and relocated (back) to Baltimore about 2 years ago. I've since gotten into multirotors/FPV/AP and have been dying to come back and shoot Philly ever since. I'll probably get up there in the coming...
