Here is my home brew tricopter. It's made from carbon fiber and light ply across the frame. OpenPilot's CopterControl keeps it in the air with the help of Flycam 925's & HK 25-30 esc's. FPV is rounded out with 5.8 ghz 600mw ImmersionRC VTX and a set of FatShark goggles with the built in receiver.

So my little Sony 1/3rd inch CCD that I used solely for FPV purposes just dyed. I'm looking for a replacement, but figured I would ask you guys to see what others are using first. Any suggestions? -Terry

Thanks, Dave. It's early morning light though to be exact. I like to fly first thing in the morning when ever possible. Both the wind and the people are easier to deal with in the early morning... and I love that light.

Fantastic! You shot these from the ground though, right? I was just at an air show around here and I wouldn't even think about putting my copter in the sky while all the big boys were flying overhead. To much air traffic, and much of it was very low flying over the beach.

Watching that video made me almost lose my breakfast! I get dizzy real easy from things like that though. ;-)

I know it's not really video, but I didn't want to start a new thread for a few pics. I just shot these this afternoon. I've been waiting to get some good weather to get this and as soon as I was ready they had a huge music & arts festival on this same spot. I'll be going back and doing it...

Is this true? I just read on one of the other boards that Open Pilot has done away with US distribution? Anyone care to explain that one?

It seems that the problem was with the board identifying itself properly to the GCS. I was able to track down different board ID's in GCS when I connected the board. The first time you launch GCS everything is good and it has the proper ID, but then if you close GCS and reopen it seems to take...
