From what I can gather, it is not possible to use S-Bus and have an independent failsafe switch. So far, I have also been UNable to find any way to do failsafe at all with S-Bus. I think all these videos leave out critical steps in the process that they assume you've already done or know about.

Actually, I'm not sure it's possible to use S-Bus and have forced fail safe. I am trying to set it so that I can only get into fail safe when in GPS mode, but am not sure I can get back there. I had changed things so deep in mix menus I have no idea how to get them back!

I purchased an F450 used and the previous owner appears to have connected the Futaba RX (R2008SB) using the "traditional" method instead of S-Bus. Is there an advantage to this? Should I change it to S-Bus? Does it matter? Lastly, is it the same type of cable/connector as the traditional...
