    Efficiency loss is never nullified. X8 has advantages over flat octo but efficiency is not one of them. Flat design is always more efficient. That video doesn't provide any useful data though.

    You should definetly go with 18" props with 4014XF-380 KV motors. Ecalc results are quite close to the real life performance. For your setup, I would recommend you to consider your real hover throttle %10-15 more than the ecalc value. This is what I get with my KDE 4014XF motors.

    No worries as long as you have the reinforcement kit. Shame on Gryphon for not offering these reinforcement kit as a standard accessory for the frame.

    Don"t forget to buy reinforcement kit for the foldable arm mechanism. http://gryphondynamics.co.kr/product/hexa I know a few guys Gryphon frame broken from the foldable joint parts. It`s better to have reinforcement for peace of mind.

    flying ronin is just nonsense and simply it doesn't work right now unless you are flying just straight, not sideways. besides its weight, horizon hold performance of ronin is just terrible.

    How are altitude limits sensed by the DJI Naza hardware?

    Interesting answers. Altitude is not based on GPS, it's based on barometer. For instance, on MK electronics maximum elevation is 5000m which can be sensed by the barometer. Over this elevation, the AH function will not work. This the same with DJI FCs, but I think only DJI can provide the data.

    I had to lower dampening P value around %10-20 on all axis to get rid off the vibrations. Auto tune might not give you %100 good result. Move the gimbal with your transmitter and see if it is generating some vibrations or not. If it's vibrating on different angles, you will need to lower...
