Bryan, Why aren't you looking at Mikrokopter FC route?

Hey baja, My MK FC 2.5 /w Herkules III is flying very smooh when there is no payload. When I add a payload, it started to act weird. Can you please check this behaviour once you setup it?

You will be happy with MK stuff. Baja, you can use Herkules III with Mikrokopter flight controller as I do :) You install the latest Herkules III I2C firmware 1.06 and thn you're good to go. You will not see a difference in flight performance. I also use BL Ctrl 3.0, 2.0 on various copters...

Does the base price (900$) include motors & ESCs? I'm wondering why DJI doesn't offer S1000 without controllers like S900. There is market for those who don't use WKM or A2 as a flight controller and still want to use this portable frame.

Z shaped arms are so smart. The biggest issue for X8 setup has been the props getting into the camera view for me. This is solved with Z shaped boom. Very nice.

Hey Lec, You are within the limit of the S1000 specs if you put GH4 or 5D. With GH4, you are at the comfort zone. You can remove the top tilt bar of M5 if you want to make it a few hundred grams lighter.

For MR, movi m10 is the king still. Only at 1.65 kg, it is hard to beat. For handheld use, extra 3 kgs will be a ton after using it for 20 minutes unless easyrig is used.

I'd love to hear your experience with it once you get it. Have you ever used Axmos based gimbal? If so, I'd be so grateful if you compare the working dynamics between these. Thanks.

Connect your copter to Kopter Tools and while your transmitter is on, under the Misc tab you will see your throttle value. Probably your throttle value is bigger than 127. If it is, just equalize your throttle value to the hover throttle value. And your Altitude Hold setting should be Vario...

HDMI output should be set to 4:2:0 8 bit on GH4, then you can get video feed over the HDMI.
