I found this in the RC forum: Mine are always in sync. Maybe try to calibrate the compass.

Commercial sUAS petition is live at Whitehouse.gov

When I sign the petition, how long does it take that I see it counted? I signed and verified it, but the site is still not showing my signature.

Considering MRF blastmail system to address FAA regulatory process but need your help

I suggest to add the link to the audit report of the US Department of Transportation to your cover letter. It's very recent and clearly shows that the FAA is behind their schedule with little attention to finish the sUAS rules. Without knowing that users might wrongly think those regulations...

Considering MRF blastmail system to address FAA regulatory process but need your help

I like the idea of a petition pushing to adopt the UK sUAS rules. At a minimum it would show that there is a sensible way to deal with it. For example they have a much clearer definition of what VLOS operations really means: Visual Line of Sight Operations Visual Line of Sight is termed as...

I'm using ZTW Spider ESCs that don't have a BEC. But they still have a 7805 voltage regulator on board and I cut the +wire from all BECs. Works well. I guess it depends on each ESC. So if it doesn't have a BEC, you need to test if it needs power from the FC, or if it powers up on it's own. Easy...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

I agree with Stacky, looks more like the FC gains are too high, rather than an issue with the HGC. I'm seeing micro bounces with mine (not twitching), but they get eliminated by the OIS of my RX100 camera. Or with the RX100 image stabilization off, I can get rid of them using post-stabilization...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

Nothing fancy, I'm using the IMS mount that fits to the AG550. The copter is a UAP1 from Rusty and I made the adapter plates on my own.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

Pete, I can't really answer that. I just got the controller last week and updated to the new firmware before I did anything else. Afterwards, I did the two calibrations. I used the "refrigerator" method and it worked very well. Took me just several minutes to get the "Good" status from the...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

Glad I could help. I believe you can achieve the same by changing the Deflection parameter (Receiver Configuration -> Current Angle -> Set Range) from the default of 90 to 150. It's important that you get additional gimbal movement at the end of both the horizon and straight down setting e.g...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

It's for working for me, with 1.8 rev 1 firmware. I'm using a knob on the transmitter to change the position between horizon (level) and straight down (90 degree movement). To get a bigger range than 90 degree from my transmitter, I needed to change the min and max pulse width to 0.85 and 2.15...
