KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

I just got my KDE3510-475 motors and KDE ESCs and can confirm what others have posted for other KDE motors. The thrust numbers seem to be spot on, but my efficient is lower than than advertised. But still good enough for me and better than my Tiger 3510 motors.

    XAircraft SuperX

It seems are we are all pretty much aligned here. The SuperX is a very good product right now and doesn't not need any big improvements. But we all want to see an active company that helps it's customers and improves the product over time with features that really help and are not just marketing...

I placed a post in their facebook page and asked what's going on.

Same here. I sent an email and PM to them last week. No answer. I will continue flying the SuperX for a while. No reason to switch now. But it would be a shame. Someone should buy their technology and turn it into a customer oriented company.

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

Wow, that's an interesting trick. Never seen that before. Thanks for sharing.

Picture #4 is the side view, folded. The legs are not the original ones, I added them on my own so I can adjust them to whatever the gimbal needs. But I hope it won't be any higher. Btw. arms are 20mm tubes. So far the folding mechanism looks solid to me. I have not seen anyone having problems...

Last week, I posted about the new quad I'm working on and that it wobbled quite a bit. In the meantime, I made a few changes and it's flying well now. At first, I thought the wobbles had to do with the FPV style layout because others have reported problems with this layout. But it was mostly...

I'm sure that if a 'team' sends some question they would respond to it. But it might not make a real difference. My guess is that xaircraft is a small company, doing too many things (like the Stella gimbal) and not spending enough resources on the FC development. They figured the FC is good...

I wonder how this should effect the ESC arming. Like Moto, I have done this once and then forgot about it.

    XAircraft SuperX

Hm, you might mean the mid settings. Mid is usually 1500 and top is 2000. I can see though that increasing the top endpoint beyond 2000 and doing the stick calibration might lower the end point used by the SuperX to arm the ESC (if this calibration is used to determine this low end point). It...

I have three other small quads all using the Taranis and the X8R or X6R receivers and Naza. Never saw a motor not arm. Could still be a compatibility issue with the Taranis. But the receiver/Taranis is not really involved in the arming process, this should be between the FC and ESC only. So my...

Good to know. I have not given up yet. The Cinetank H looks nice. Mine is bigger with 66cm MTM. Finally weight around 3.6kg. My Y6 is 4kg and flies very well with the SuperX.

Yeah, I know, I followed your odyssey. The people in the RCG forum sometime like to put their heads in the sand. They don't understand that our goal is to improve a good product. To sort out the wobble problem, I will add a Naza to my quad. I can then easily switch between the SuperX and the...

Yes, this definitely helps. It increases my confidence the the castle MR are working well and that this might not be a SuperX issue. Do you think the KDE ESC would be a better choice that the Castle MRs? They are more expensive and besides the marketing language on their web site, I could not...

No these are not SimonK ESC. Its a proprietary Hobbywing FW. The only reason I chose them, was that I tested the MN3510 on the bench and got sync problems with the ZTW Spider SimonK and a blue HK ESC, also SimonK. After some research it came up that only the Hobbywing ESC and the Tiger ESC...

    XAircraft SuperX

Well, I did this in the beginning, but it was worse. 4 out of 6 motors sometimes did not arm. So I started to increase the lower end point. The problem is the FC that is likely using a fixed low end point to arm the ESC instead if using the endpoint it gets during the stick calibration. So if...

Yes, it always works on the second try. A little annoying, but no show stopper.

Yesterday, I just flew my new quad for the first time. SuperX, T-motor MN3510-13 700kv, Hobbywing Platinum Pro 30A OPTO, Taranis, X8R receiver. It's probably a little early to tell, but so far I had no problems with arming the ESCs. I calibrated them with -89/+100 endpoints and then reset the...

That is pretty strange. Mine sits on a copper PC board with no problems at all. Quick satellite lock. Btw. nice waterfall footage!
