What you're describing makes me think there's still something not quite right with the yaw. Send me the log please.

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

It's absolutely a firmware issue and not an hardware one. When will it be fixed depends on how many people want to use reduction drives. We are constantly evaluating our priorities depending on the feedback from users.

It won't be ready in time for that batch. They will receive the regulator with the rest a few weeks later. They will be bound to 3S until then.

That horizon rocking should not be happening. That's our fault and we'll get it over one of the 2-3 next versions.

Jim, what the hell did you just post here? ;) Unless I'm not looking straight, this video seems pixel perfect under these conditions? Did I miss anything? I honestly thought the MR was resting on the ground up until you yawed. Nice :)

Agreed with Wayne. These are the only indicative tests, preferably around a body of water. We can, and will, tune the IMU far more aggressively to hold horizon, we just need to see how it does for everyone first. Also, any horizon problems we had so far were static, meaning the IMU installation...

Agreed Andrew. The conduct at *** is a directly inverse to the positive atmosphere we're trying to maintain with our users. But good always triumphs ;) Meanwhile - http://forums.phobotic.com/forum/main-category/main/791-phobotic-for-fixed-wing-application?p=837#post837

What's going on the other forum is a complete disgrace. I am not proud in my participation, but then again it was/is our primary marketing channel for now and we can not let it be drowned by those who seek to damage us. The only upside is that we got a HUGE amount of support and backing...

Then reduce the delay by a half, it will help. If you don't want the speed/accel limiters, set them to maximum (they determine the max allowable speed). An axis with 100 degrees/second of movement will be 10 times as quick as one with 10 degrees/seconds limiter. I advise you to keep some...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Thanks jfro. You got the LEDs about right (it's also detailed pretty well in the manual). After startup is done, LEDs 1-3 show the battery status, LED 4 is off and LED 5 shows High Performance (blue) or Recovery/Initialization (Orange). You will hear a couple of beeps when the controller enters...

Max speed and max accels are limiters, not factors. This means that if your rigidity is very low (like 10), max speed and accel won't change anything. But if you're operating on high rigidity, you can use both to tailor the follow behavior to your liking. Max accel will limit the rate the speed...

    Phobotic Centerpiece finally released

Tom, first, thanks for the vote of confidence buying the CP. Second, I never tried to hide issues with the CP. I posted raw testing videos from all around the development of the CP on ***, and we all know what kind of mess that brought about. If there are problems, I'm the first to admit and...

    Phobotic Centerpiece finally released

Apart from some movement when he was accelerating laterally at 1:30, I can't see much wrong here. You don't have a reference point, as the city is sloping towards the sea and the camera looks diagonally towards the houses with a wide lens. When you look at 2:46, when he's directly facing the...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

jfro, you got it right, the CP is designed to give good results with very low effort at up to 40mm for an awesome price. This is well beyond what other setups priced at this level. With the Serenity IMU it should do significantly better, perhaps 70mm or more, and beyond that we are talking about...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

I'm with you, just saying that the common "light pro" setup is usually GH3/GH4 with 12mm lens. We're definitely aiming for longer, we know the need is there - but it's not easy past 40mm (at least not without perfect mechanics). [/COLOR]

There is definitely some shake in the beginning, but anyway, that's just a testing session where you try stuff out. Over the last two months the controller had made huge progress, mainly due to the feedback of our beta testers. I'm going to get this setup up in the air again soon.
