$125 Tarot ZYX-M Flight Control - Had to try it.

There may be a special driver that you need to download for it to work. Not saying that's it but it's common to need a driver to communicate with the GUI.

The GPS puck should be firmly mounted. If it falls out or turns during flight you will most likely crash. I used nuts and bolts to secure the base. I used the two sided tape for the puck and then CA (super glue) for the mast on both ends. I wouldn't use hot glue, They also make a folding mount...

DJI Ronin-m *like new* for sale

I really like this gimbal but am a little concerned about its weight. Wouldn't you agree that its a little on the heavy side for an aerial gimbal that would only be used with a mirrorless or DLSR camera?

How to start an aerial production business?

Ive found that the task of filming and editing is almost secondary to getting work in the first place. A large portion of your time is spent on drumming up business. People are not out there clamoring for aerial video and photography, you need to find them and convince them you have something to...

Best transmitter and receiver for a newbie

$60 isn't a lot of cash for a radio. You wouldn't be out a lot if you decide this hobby's not for you. If you do decide that you really want to pursue this you will find yourself wanting to upgrade to the taranis eventually. The taranis has resale value where as not so much for the turnigy. The...

DJI F550 will not stably hover

Just checked the DJI app. red, red, purple means you have a lock on 5 satellites. Not the best but not bad either, although it could be better. If you let it hover does it have what's called the toilet bowl effect? that's when in hover it slowly makes small circles then with time the circles may...

DJI F550 will not stably hover

Start with a fresh calibration of your GPS compass. After that make sure you have a good lock on satellites when in GPS mode.

Pokemon GO player uses drone to catch them faster

This cannot end well. We already have enough negative press without the pokeman go crowd dragging us down with them.

I wouldn't worry about the wire gauge too much. I used heavy gauge on my 960 build and I could have gotten away with less. What camera do you want to put on it?

I second that on all of the options and decisions thing. I have changed my little Tarot 680 around a dozen times so far and I am almost at the final configuration. The battery's, GPS compass, gimbal, FPV, OSD have changed positions many times.

Hey all good to be here - DJI 55 hexa issue

It should hop right up, hold position and hover steady. The gains could be way off but its hard to say. There's a couple of good YouTube videos on gains out there. You can probably even find someone else's gains for a f550 and start there. There's other things as well, Maybe preform a throttle...

Testing blackmagic pocket with brushless 3-axis gimbal

Were those shot in raw and then color corrected afterwards? And if so how hard is it to color correct?

Hey all good to be here - DJI 55 hexa issue

With a naza M that shouldn't be happening. Sounds like its not in GPS/atti. Have you calibrated your compass? Have you hooked it up to the DJI software and checked your gains? You shouldn't be having these problems. The flashing LED should tell you a lot by the colors.

The two non folding arms are right and left, I think it doesn't matter after that. You only need one set of power leads for accessory's, after that you can just branch off of that although two is better cause you can dedicate one for the PMU and then use the second for everything else. I'm a fan...

    Cheerson CX-20 Engine Problems

Yes they should all have a capacitor on the battery side. Let us know if a new ESC solves the problem.

    Cheerson CX-20 Engine Problems

If you could pick up one easy then sure why not. My understanding is the capacitor smooth's out voltage ripples from the battery to protect the FET's in the ESC. So if the capacitor is gone the ESC should still work but it would have a limited life span without the capacitor. So if your ESC is...

    Cheerson CX-20 Engine Problems

hmm....I'm not sure, if the red/green is just a light that is used to tell the orientation of the craft then it probably doesn't matter. For instance the front two arms might have red lights on them and the rear arms have green lights on them.

    Cheerson CX-20 Engine Problems

It looks like a capacitor and every ESC should have one. Not sure how it got knocked off though. The prudent thing would be to replace the entire ESC if that possible.
