    DX8 mix - help needed

I'm glad someone posted this question! I do not (yet) own a WK-M, but I've spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how switching between the 3 flight modes could be done with 1 3-way switch, and how to activate Failsafe in all of these modes with only one 2-way switch. Looking forward...

I'd appreciate suggestions as to other forums that cover DJI products

Welcome! For quality information with the most integrated forum members, you've already found the place (here). As IrisAerial said, RC Groups has a lot of activity, but I get more of a headache that help there. There is some quality there, but it usually comes from members that are also...

    Hot Rodded my f450

Nice! I have an OSD Pro. How readable is the OSD data on the FatSharks? I was going to order the Predators, but am on a waiting list for Dominators. Just curious to know how you like the Predators and how legible the test is in use. I've never used either of them, but it is my understanding...

    Hot Rodded my f450

Looks great kloner. Lean 'n mean, I like it! MY F450 has bulked up a bit with 500 heli landing gear, a GoPro, all sorts of EagleTree data bits, and LED's. Thanks for reminding me how simple and effective the original kit is. I'm motivated to strip off some of the weight I added and run...

    New Forum ideas

LOL! Sounds like a great idea for another photo contest. ;) Done correctly, you could irritate the FCC, FAA, and PETA all in one swoop!

Prop mounts on QCs Torx tigers etc.

Boris, From the pictures above, it looks to me that the nuts were overtightened, which stretched and deformed the bottom threads on the shaft. If that is the case, the nuts will never tighten properly. As Lanzar mentioned, it is possible that the unthreaded portion of the shaft was too long...

don't use DJI props they snap 8"

+3. My stock props have been through a lot. I inspect them frequently and have yet to see any problems, let alone any that developed on their own or from use. I've broken 2 during a crash in freezing temperatures. I balance all of my props, and actually like the stock 8" DJIs quite a bit.

Nothing to do with dji but my rig is dji... Spektrum rx help

What process are you using to bind the TM1000, AR8000, and Tx? The process is different. You must bind the TM1000, AR8000 and Tx all at once, using the recessed bind button on the TM1000. Connect everything up, press and hold the bind button on the TM1000, power up the receiver, then power up...

    Chargers: Hyperion vs iCharger?

15Joe, To charge a 4S 5000 mAh battery at 1C (in about 60 minutes), you need a charger capable of 5 Amps and a power supply capable of supplying 84 watts. I do not think you will be happy with a charger & power supply only capable of 6.0A and 50 watts. That Hyperion charger (HP-EOS606IAD) is...

Is anyone else having any shipping issues with Robert

"HollywoodJoe" in NH? Does that mean you are from Manch-Vegas?! :tennis: Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have some pretty cool things going on. Power parachutes? First I've heard of 'em, I googled it. They sound awesome if a bit terrifying, which means I'm very interested in learning...

Need battery suggestion for a F550

Do either of you have local r/c hobby shops? If so, I would go and see what they sell there and talk to the owner(s). I learned a lot by visiting my local hobby shop, and in turn bought most of my equipment there. They are happy to help me with any questions I have about using the products I...

Need battery suggestion for a F550

I have a Hyperion EOS 0720i Super Duo 3. It is a great charger. The biggest difference between the two Hyperion chargers you mentioned, is that the Super Duo 3 has 2 charge ports and 2 displays, so it can balance charge 2 batteries at once. The two batteries can be totally different from one...

DJI Zenmuse gimbal and S800 Spreading Wings preorder

How are the ESCs and motors connected to power? Does power and/or signals run through the S800 arms? If you want to remove the arms for transportation, do you also need to unplug any motor or ESC wires? Some pictures show bus connections, some do not. I am very curious to understand how this...

Here are some pics. By the way, for those with brushless RPM sensors, these motors have 14 magnets.

    DJI 2212 / 920kv motors - R & R / Maintenance

One of the 920kv motors on my F450 has become a bit more notchy than the others. I face-planted my quad yesterday and ended up breaking a prop. I noticed that the motor with the broken prop was very notchy. Instead of spinning freely, it felt like it was clicking or rotating in individual...

How reliable are the DJI propellers?

Personally, I really like the 8" DJI props. I run them with 4S batteries. I've briefly tried the 10" props, both DJI and Graupner, but still prefer the 8" DJI. I need to get the gains just right with the 8", and then I'll try the 10's again. I got a bit frustrated trying out the different...

    F450 with NAZA vs F550

Everything else being equal, I would think the quad would be a better first rig. 2 less motors, props, escs, arms, etc., to break in the event of a crash! Whatever you get, buy a few sets of extra props. Stick with the DJI's to start, as they are cheap compared to Graupners, etc. A set of DJI...

Is the F450 the new go to?

A DJI Flamewheel was my first quad. I bought it after a lot of online reading. I don't know how I first came across it, but the GUI 330X with Scorpion motors was the first quad I was interested in. I visited a local hobby shop and found that the only multicopter they carried was the GUI 330x...

    DJI f450 and DX6i

The only experience I have is with the Spektrum AR8000 that came with my DX8i. So far, it has worked great, though I've only flown line of site and within a 1/4 mile radius. My DX8i also came with the telemetry module, and it has never recorded a hold or fade while in use.
