I was thinking empirically. That far out wouldn't an inbound be WAY above the 400ft ceiling?
I would hope so but I have seen and heard low flying jets heading to our state airport, which is close to 15 miles away, near that 400 ft ceiling.

Scud runners. Ducking under a layer to cancel IFR and obtain a visual approach faster than they would obtain a precision approach. Usually Darwin thins that herd fairly quickly.

I have included a three generation family photo of my registered drones

All three home made. All three Multiwii Mega Pro boards. All three waypoint mission capable.

It says if you are using sUAV for commercial purposes you have to register by paper. There is a link to do so and it brings you right back to the standard way of registering. Has anyone figured out how to get the forms to mail in by paper?

Down load them from the FAA registration site. I did that awhile back but the computer I had them in toasted the hard drive.
