Any photos/footage of the mechanical gimbal? An interesting idea to think about a bit more.
I think I saw 4 shots in gymkhana 5 that were from an R/C heli? None more than a second. And even then some weren't that stable.
It was interesting to see how stable the shots from the full size heli...
Great to see they've pushed out an update quickly. Hopefully they keep coming and I get a chance to look 1.1.4 before then end of the week.
Cheers

Could you please expand on this a bit? How have you got it connected now? Maybe just describe which colour cables either side of the connector :)
I'm still having problems with this. When I click "save settings" it now say "command not executed" or something along those lines?
I for one am having problems with this whole set up.
1. Getting it to stay put where I want it. The Roll seems to be fine but the tilt will only stay put if I trim the input from my transmitter. Except it's not trim, it's just slightly to one side.
2. When I use my transmitter to change...
So I thought the RSGS could do with it's own thread for users to discuss software settings.
I'll use this first post to edit together the most usefull infomation once we've had a few replies and ironed out the intial problems.
Don't worry, I sorted it out by reversing the servos in the RSGS software. I just had to do it before the RSGS finished it's startup procedure.
I am getting drift though over the course of a minute or two. What settings are you running for gain/velocity etc?
Cheers
Jesse
Hi Chris,
How did you get yours working?
I've received mine but once it finishes powering up it just goes to full tilt and roll?
I've tried powering it both from the receiver and a BEC on the pan input.
Any ideas? I uploaded the new firmware to it but it was doing it both before and after...
Hey Pete,
Other's can chime in here but as I understand it, regarding your parallel harness, te cables coming out of your batteries are rated for it's maximum output, peak not just constant.
For example I have Hyperion 3S 5500mAh batteries that are rated at 35C constant. That's 35 x 5.5 for...
Ended up getting this one, http://www.urbandrones.com/FPV-Camera-Switch_p_129.html
Only because it was the only shop I could find that had both a switch and then blue beam 5.8GHz antennas in stock. They haven't arrived yet so that's all I can tell you :)
Cheers for the reply Pete, It's good to know it can be done :)
I currently run 500mw 5.8GHz so maybe I can just get another on of those, choose a different channel and try and keep the antennas separated.
I did just do some more googling and found people were using a switch to swap cameras...
Hi guys,
Don't know whether this should be in the FPV thread or the Aerial Photography thread ? But
Does anyone here use 2 video down links at the same time? I have a Nex5-n on a gimbal but would prefer to fly by my fixed FPV cam.
What are other people doing about this? What are my options...
