surely it wouldn't be as simple as getting one of these and swapping the existing mini HDMI over to the micro to make it work within the original GH3 gimabl... that would be too simple. right?

Or even one...
Hi all, thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
I have an s800 with WKM, Z15G (with secraft adaptor holding a GH3) The GH3 plums through the zemnuse to an iosd and onto an AVL58 to send video. It's taken MONTHS to smooth out the vibes but I'm now getting super smooth images from it...
Nice work Scott. I'm over in Scotland and have a cs8 in about the same point, again with the a2... Weather issues here also! Got a short test flight in during a break in the weather last week. Will post some pics when I get back into the workshop.
Is is that a custom tray for your a2 electronics?
Interesting... Will look forward to seeing it. Are those flight times with the Z15-5D gimbal AND the canon 5d camera? I'm sure you wouldn't mislead us but it would be good to get confirmation :tennis:
Hi Mombasa.
Yes, during calibration the legs only moved about an inch. I thought there was something wrong, but the light went green and then the retracts worked perfectly.
Sorry, forgot to check the red flash, will report back next time I fly.
Don't think I mentioned it last time but I'm on IMU v2 - Re-calibrated the legs yesterday by suspending the copter again and following the method explained in the manual. Flew it this morning and the legs worked perfectly. Tried them a number of times during the 12 minute flight and even tested...
Currently building/test flying an s800/Wookong which'll have a zenmuse Z-15g, with the secraft gh3 housing. I'm planning on using the iosd and standard dji video downlink.
My question is this; the Z-15g manual tells me I must use the AVCHD file type, with the 1080i setting which is around...
Thanks for the tip guys.... I'd been a bit disappointed with the red and was mulling over swapping out to try the black. Will report back once I've tried them.
I'm impressed with secraft workmanship, but their lack of instructions and info will sink them as a company if they aren't a bit more...
I've just got my s800 flying in the last week and hve been a bit pre-occoupied with trying to remove the vibrations.
Tried the retracts for the first time yesterday.... Suspended the system at home and tested it, worked perfectly.
Took it to the field and got it airbourne, threw the switch...
I'm running 5.18 on my f550, I have a cinestar that runs 5.20 and the rth works fine. I'll perhaps try updating the f550 to 5.20 also. Thanks for the tips guys.
Hi all,
So I set up my wookong on my F550 all working well and RTH working perfectly...
Changed the servos in my gimbal a few weeks back (being fed from the main batt via a BEC, command from the Wkm) and now, bizarrely the 'copter won't RTH, whenever I hit the RTH switch it just goes up to...
Not sure if you ever resolved this, but you can download the AVL58 manual here http://www.multiwiicopter.com/product_images/pdf/AVL58-VideoLink-user-manual.pdf
