Hi John
Futaba is a great manufacture of radios so it is a good buy. You don't need a 14 channel radio to fly, if you want to save some money buy an 8 channel.
In relation to your batteries I would advise you get a 4s 5000mah battery 30 or 40C.
If you need any help please email me at any stage...
Hi
There is not a lot of difference from the S800 and the S800 Evo in my opinion. Based on the new S800 Evo spec and the combo deals we are offering it looks like a cheaper deal is to buy the S800 combo deals and then buy the upgrades which make it more or less the same as the new Evo.

hi,
I have a customer with an S800 skid. The skid wont retract on the ground or air. We have checked the servos and they are working fine. We are getting a green flashing LED. We carry out the travel calibration and the LED changes from the yellow to a solid green but the skid wont retract. When...

Hi
I got told today by my DJI dealer that there is a problem with the Wookong IUM if the S800 is more the 7kg. It only happens on v. 5.20 and causes the copter to drop in altitude. DJI has a fix coming out mid April. They want us to buy a new IMU which I believe is in a steel case now. The email...
Hi
I had the same problem. I uninstalled everything and the reinstalled after I restarted the computer but I made sure I installed as per the sequence on the disk one at a time. It all then worked fine.
Hi
I got an email from my DJI dealer about a fault on the Wookong IMU.
DJI it seems has found a fault on the IMU if your payload is 7kg on the S800. It seems if you more the 7kg you can get a new IMU in a steel case, this new case will stop the faults, the main fault seems to be in hover mode...
