Regarding power to the servoes., would it then be possible only to use the signal wire going from the servo to the naza. And then power the servos from a separate lipo ?

Kloner, I need standard size servoes or a bit smaller. Im going to make a gimbal myself. Or at least I hope ;-)

Andy, it looks good;-) Blacksails, yes that's the error I made. I didn't give the failsafe switch a thought t all.. Ill setup the tx to flip the switch in failsafe. Thanks :-)

I used one from a HTC. Samsung makes some nice cables too ;-)

Hi fayrwerks I use one from a mobile phome. The wire is longer and much more soft than the one provided by dji. So yes you can use a none dji branded USB cable. I filed the small lock tabs flat on the micro USB that goes into the VU. So it wont lock/bind int the VU plug.
