HI Droider that is great news to hear you got it up and running..must have been a good day. I'm fix in to get a WKM I think it will arrive today and i'm also a mac guy. So I hope I can use your post to help get mine in the air.

I've been re-engineering the RC Carbon GoPro mount for the past two days while its been pouring down rain here. Today is finally sunny but VERY windy, I know the big hex can handle it but I'm not so sure about the much lighter quad. I want to get out and continue dialing in the gain settings as well as test the mount but the head of household has other ideas for today. I've got to mind the animals while she attends to whatever it is she has to do that requires the dogs to be banished from the upper Queendom of the house for the day so I'll be puttering about in the Tardis... I mean workshop... for most of the morning, if you get stuck shoot me an email and I'll help as best I can from across the pond.

Whoop whoop I am pretty much all programmed up with my wkm and hexa homebuild. Couple things still outstanding a few tweaks here and there but should be airborne soon and then I,ll know for sure, hit me up dave if I can help ya with the programming ! Good Luck !

I really think the first flight I will do will be up north next weekend...if my boom clamps arrive in time. If they don't, I shall be visiting someone with a can of unleaded and a Dunlop radial

This controller and the DroidWorx CX4 I think will set the standards for a VERY LONG TIME! Now we just need the CX4

PS.. PM Geoff but he gave up on it as he did not see the point in spending all the time and effort on the MK BL's with the WKM.. especially when it flies like it does using 10 quid esc's

I tried with the Mk bl's in a Hexa XL distro ring and had no success .. I tried with a brand new ring and none of the Bl's were addressed and used the ppm out but I was getting intermittent results and several motors not working and then major stuttering on the ones that did work.
Timecop from Rcgroups claimed it should work ok but it didn't for me and I was not prepared to risk fooking up a full Bl ring for experimental purposes .
Herkules looks a good product but so so pricey and again what happens if one fails , does the whole board go down ??
There are lots of power distribution boards out there at the moment and with a bit of time spent on the build they can be made to look neat and tidy . Most people seem to be getting good results with the Hobbywing Pentium aka Fentium and now Funfly.

Thanks for the update Geoff. I will lay the MK BLs to the side and not try them for now, since like mentioned before I am wanting to try the herkules II. As far as i remember at least with ppm if one of units fails on the Herkules the others stay in still work. Gotta requestion that one though !
