Revo is tuned to fly, but should be tuned to suit your flying style. Props/motors are not balanced and I think this build will also fly well with 11" props. Gimbal works right out of the box and is wired to the RX for tilt. I use a Spektrum DX7S and the little Aux2 dial controls the tilt.
I stuffed a 3S 5000mAh LiPo into the tail (see photos), so there is ample room in there. Flew around 15 mins (easy flying) with that pack. Everything runs off the main battery. There is a JST connector up front to connect the gimbal (currently hooked up), and a JST connector aft of the flight controller ready to connect a VTX to for FPV. You can also run the gimbal/VTX off of separate batteries if you'd like to. My plan was to run the FPV wiring inside the frame, place the VTX above the battery on the top deck, and a small CCD up front. The build is clean without any wires hanging around outside of the frame and I think it looks pretty cool.
I have about 3 test flights on her now and will post some video when I get some time. Will be shipped with the landing gear removed with a lot of padding. Please feel free to ask any questions. Located in NYC if you are local. Here are some pics:
