Zenmuse Problems !

I also have issues with the startup of the Zenmuse for the NEX7. The gimbal keeps spinning and doesn't initialise.
Anyone had this same issue and fixed it ?

It only does that when it cant find the IMU. CAN bus issue?

Thats interesting that its a Canbus issue as i see the same thing sometimes.
Sometimes the Gimbal just wont initialise when power is applied to the whole system at the same time, ie the Gimbal is plugged into the main power bus so when the battery is plugged in the DJI-M and the Gimbal power up at the same time.
If I then unplug the Gimbal power and repower it usually initialises. Denny, would you advise powering up the DJI-M system first before powering up the Gimbal to ensure the Canbus system is up and running before the Gimbal try's to find it?
I'll experiment with this.

wonder if battery type (C rating) has to do with it? what battery specs are you using? I am using 6S 65C batteries and have no issues, .. but when I tried the 6S 30C, I did notice the Zenmuse sometimes not calibrating.. about 3 out of 7 times it would give me issues. On my 65C batteries, it always works so far.
