Anyone have any idea how it would be possible to use a Canon GP-E2 GPS Module with the Z2000 gimbal and a 5D, at the moment the video feed in the gimbal uses the A/V-Digital Mini USB port on the camera which is the same as the fly lead from the GPS Module, normally the module sits on the hot shoe but this is used for supporting the camera in the gimbal and would also upset balance.
The wiring from the camera via the gimbal only uses two wires yellow and black which is for the video feed to the AV tx, according to the wiring diagram there are two other wires, does anyone know if these could be used for the GPS position logging with a suitable mini usb socket?
