Yesterday's flight

Was flyig yesterday and I reached out and touched one of the white arms and it has vibration quite a bit. So this evening I tried the Mioor with the laser pointer on each arm by relectig the laser off the mirro onto a white objest. The round do never changed shape enough to where you could say that the arm had vibs. The props came balanced from the folks that assembly the hexa. Tomorrow I will recheck the props to make sure they are balanced and then another test flight to see if the vibs are still there. So if they are where do I go from here? Spektrun DX7 tx DJI F550 with stock 10" props 3S 2200 battery. I think I will order some 8" props to see if that makes a difference.

have you tried taking off the props and feeling the arms with the motors spinning propless?

my guess is the prop holder part isn't perfect or the props not balanced. the stock props suck

I placed the F550 on my hard wood floor to check for vibs and the way it was vibrating yesterday it would have been walking all over the floor but its was very still and I could not feel any vibs from any of the arms by touching them. I think I have a prop thats not quite balanced very good or just a bad prop all togther. I will check this afternoon and when and if it vibrates I will switch that arm out with another one and see if it makes a difference. And if it does then I know I have a bad prop or unbalanced prop.

Well after checking all 6 props for correct balance I decided to weight the props like I do for the Heli's and as I thought there is enough weight difference to make vibrations. The lightest prop was 12.5g and the heaviest prop was 13.1 and that's with the hub attached on each prop. So after added some tape now they are all within 0.1g or less. Maybe with a little luck this will take care of the vibs.
