This is the most reliable and smooth flight controller I've ever flown. I'm only getting rid of it because I need something with programmable flight routes (I have an A3 on order).
This is the fully unlocked version (works with up to 8 motors) that sells for $599 new. I've been using it on a heavy lift x8 without any problems. It can be a little squirrely if it's not tuned right, but once you get everything set it's incredibly smooth. This is the only flight controller I've had enough confidence in to fly mainly in GPS mode.
The copper tape on the GPS helps lock in the GPS signal more quickly, but I can remove it if you want.
