Xaircraft FC1212-S for Gimbal with WKM

Does anyone here use the FC-1212-s to control their gimbal? If so, how do you have it wired? Is it as simple as having only the two servos plugged in plus the one channel for pitch to your receiver? Would it be powered via that one channel?
