XAircraft X650 frame arm

Just wondering, what is the outside diameter of the frame arm tube? What is it made off? I am trying to get some small thin tube for mounting cameras.

thanks

the tubes that hold on the landing gear to the center plates are 10mm and are carbon fiber. I replaced mine with 3/8" aluminum tubing.

Carbon fiber. I replaced mine with round aluminum and made them about an inch longer and then replaced those with square aluminum tubing. This thing flies perfect with no trim settings to the TX now that I can keep the motors on the same plane and level.

I read many reports about the X650 V motors not being in plane and level. Also I broke a motor mount very easily in a hard landing. This is why I switched to the XA hexa frame, although I realize it is not a perfect compromise.

I broke motor mounting plates, motor mounts, one of the boom arms, landing gear rails and arms and even broke the center plates. The only original XA stuff left on my quad is the electronics and the landing gear arms. I'm trying to work a deal with a local cnc shop to make some aluminum center plates and motor mounts and landing gear so I can build my own. Similar to the airfoil but with some better mods for half the price of theirs. $6K+ for a quad with $150 worth of parts and another $1500 for electronics (high end) is just crazy.
