"Why do you have so many X1s?"

Chris- A good question a few people have asked me. I even have asked myself on occasion during periods of mental status stability. The "rationale"- to let one quad's motor's cool as I flew another. That would account for two quads, but if I only flew short flights like 3 -4 minutes- that would require 3 quads to allow for "sufficient" motor cooling.... and then there was this "flyaway" episode
:witless: after I changed out Tx batteries and did not check which model of aircraft I had defaulted to on the Tx :stupid:. I am surrounded by very thick woods. That quad is still MIA. So that led to the 4th (a just in case back up quad) which actually is my videocam quad now. It has the newest motors and most balanced props. Like I said- Wifey just gave up on the X1's :grumpy:

It appears that I may have worked with serious "head cases" for just a little too long before I retired but I am happy and relatively harmless.
