I am using the MK-USB board to talk to my MK stack on my Cinestar 8 and it works great. But I noticed that the Navi board actually as a USB port on it. I tried plugging into it, but Windows says it doesn't know what to do with the connection. Does it do anything? Can I use it instead of the MKUSB board? What's it for?

    Thanks!

    Hi Steve,

I believe this port was for future use and does nothing at the moment.

If I remember correctly, You can use that port for firmware updates.

That'd be cool, but Windows needs a driver for the hardware.
Can't talk to the port with the drivers I have installed.
Do you know of another way to interface to it?

    Hi Steve:
The USB connector goes straight to the USB pins on the CPU but on the MK Wiki page it is shown as USB: Not used.
