UK National Trust land permission

Hi as a new BNUC-s operator, I've yet to approach the UK National Trust for permission to take off from their land. As it's a condition to seek the permission of the land owner, I'd be interested to hear your experiences about how they handle requests & who is a good contact who understands our needs. I'm mainly interested in Welsh hillsides or Cornish cliffs rather than stately homes/parks which will require other permissions. DM me if you prefer. Thanks

We recently flew at Wightwick Manor. We contacted the guys at the manor rather than the trust itself, and they OK'd it all. Hillsides and cliffs may be a different matter though as you won't have people on site to contact.
I'd say just contact the trust, make it clear that your not just any old dude with a toy helicopter and maybe give them some examples of your work. I'd be surprised if you are denied. I find people generally tend to be quite accommodating when they realise what it is that we actually do.
