Tracking a moving object?

I'm going to be buying a DJI soon (model yet to be decided) and I was hoping there'd be a way to track a object moving at around 20-30 kmph. Whether it be through GPS/wireless/bluetooth doesn't matter. I've seen a camera and one drone that, with a little box on the object (containing the GPS/wireless/bluetooth signal), eg. an arm on a person, it'll track and follow them.

I plan on using this for wakeboarding so the use of a controller would be out of the question.

Is there any way to achieve this? Been looking but haven't found anything yet.

I'm not aware of and option with DJI to do this however Mikrokopter has it.

the Iris+ by 3D Robotics has some sort of feature like "follow me"
check out :55 second mark.
I think this is a horrible idea from a safety standpoint.
