I have purchased one of these: http://www.rctigermotor.com/html/2015/Combo_pack_0330/290.html
and 2 of these: http://www.rctigermotor.com/html/2014/Combo_pack_0930/279.html

The smaller set "Airgear 200" to build a 220mm warpquad acro frame running naze rev 6 just for fun and the larger set, "Airgear 350" to build a 355mm Armattan. an everyday indestructible training rig running Naza to keep sharp on rather than flying my P3 or my big rig.

Quality looks to be typical awesome tmotor quality but they have gone cheap in a couple areas like having the motor information on a sticker rather than printed directly onto the motor. The price was awesome or so I thought.
When I assembled the larger rig I had one motor slow to start regardless of what esc it was connected to. I have seen this before, and busted out the lc meter, pulled the bell off the stator and took some readings. Sure enough it had a slight short across 2 of the phases. 10 minutes of flying and the smoke came pouring out. Motor done. I spoke to ready made rc and they were happy to issue an RMA for inspection but living in Canada shipping is more than the damn part. I ended up just ordering a complete new set.

Here is the rig. View attachment 26378

So while I'm waiting on a new motor to get that rig working I built the warpquad.

First time with a naze but I got her flying real nice. After 5 or 6 packs I adjusted the settings and started to play with rolls. 50' up, my first full roll and when she tries to recover one motor stops and she drops like rock. View attachment 26379View attachment 26380View attachment 26381

Esc fried. you can barely see the burn mark in this pic. View attachment 26384

The scary thing is that the air gear 200 set originally came with air 10 amp esc's and they switched over to 15 amp, which I have. obviously 10 amp wasn't enough for some applications and it appears the 15 amp isn't either. I am gonna get rid of these air esc's completely and try the ZTW spider mini 18A (because I can get them locally)

Not feeling the love on these tmotor combo packs.

Ouch no kidding about not feeling the love!

As a T-Motor lover this makes me nervous. Thank you for the report.

You gotta figure these kits compared to separate components would be half the price or less than half the price. Seems like they had to cut a few corners. Or maybe I was very unlucky. I did notice that most guys running the 2205-2000 motors are not using the air15a esc's. There must be a reason for that.
