Ergh....
All the ducks were lining up.
I have had my DX8 repaired (great service from Horizon Hobby) because a couple of switches got damaged in a fall.
I sent my DX8 to Xaircraft (UK) so my new quad could be fitted and test flown
I have two lipos on order and a set of very cool spotlights ready to fit.
I have got the budget together to order the setup I need.. X650 Pro + SuperX and have been in contact with Xaircraft (UK) to make sure that everything was just so...
And this morning I called to place the order.... all so it could be delivered in time for my birthday later this week.
I was greeted with the news that Xaircraft (UK) had been doing a promotion and had run out of stock of the x650 Pro and new stock was not expected for about 1 1/2 weeks :upset::upset::upset:
I tell myself that it will be all the sweeter when it finally arrives but the truth is I am gutted. You know how you build yourself up and the excitement becomes really intense. Well, well that bubble is burst.
I fairness, the guy from Xaircraft (UK) has been very helpful and I can't blame him for making sales when the opportunity presents itself, but ergh... I feel gutted.
Patience is a virtue they say and mine will have to be tested :dread:
