Tarot FY680?

Is the FY680 big enough to properly fly a gimbaled GH3 or should I go with an octo? Trying to figure out the right next step.

I have ordered the same F680 pro. There many DJI phantom flying with the with the same setup much smaller multi rotors doing well

Sorry I didn't read your post well. I thought you were talking about a Gopro Hero3 and Zenmuse H3-2D and Not the Z15-GH3 as you must be referencing

I like on paper the Tarot Fy680 Pro and that is what I have ordered. with the larger motors. It is a large unit but yet not so large as transportation or setup difficult.

Before anyone can really answer your question you need the total all up weight. But my guess is keeping the weight under control and just one 4s 5500 mAh Battery. flight will be about 9 minutes. My set up will be with the go pro H3. I expect to fly near 14 minutes and I can carry a extra battery if I want but the extra weight of the battery will add only 4 to 5 minutes to my 14 minutes flying time.

If 9 or 10 minutes missions are ok you should be fine. ( just keep a eye on the weight) It is alway a challenge to carry loads and keep the flying times high no mater what size you build.

You will need retractable gear for that mount if you want to pan? but there is a company now building the retract system for the 680
