Switch throttle curve during flight on 8fg

My Futaba 8fg is set up in airplane mode. I would like to switch between throttle curves, but can't seem to make it work. I can only use throttle curve 1. I've figured out the myriad of features in this radio, but this one has me scratching my head.

You most likely need to switch to heli mode and setup the parameters in the hoverfly software. I'm running spektrum and the only way to do curves is in heli mode. It takes some patience and time spent in the monitor to ensure everything will respond correctly in the software. You should have a an option for a single servo swash (90 deg) so that you don't have any interaction between ele, ail, pit and throttle.

Webheadfred gave me an explanation a while back on one of my post from my first flight on an x8 build. I've made the curve but haven''t had the guts to try it as I'm still learning...

Here's the thread if you want to check it out. I followed what he said and it appeared to work...

How's your alexmos test going. I'm impressed with what I got on my first flight with it, but it's been frustrating as it's a learning curve with everything being new. I'm using an old gh1 which is the same size as gh2. I've a 2nd controller waiting on new gimbal for gh2/gh3 with a belt drive on roll... Should see it in 10-14 days.... I think in another year they are going to be mature and solid as a rock.... Can't wait....

Thanks for linking to that thread. It would seem that multiple throttle curves can work in airplane mode. I've got mine setup for multiple dual rate settings set by a switch and that works great, but can't get the throttle curves to work on a switch.
