Swiss Anemometer: Skywatch Eole - V. NICE

Just bought one of these, primarily because I got fed up with trying to aim/align my Silva anemometer which had an impeller.

The Eole has a sensor that measures wind from any direction as soon as it's cap is removed. The other nice thing is it has configurable averaging... AND has a camera tripod female on the base.

Supports all wind speed units, nicely built and substantial/business like.

I have one, too - unfortunately I had it on a lighting standing and a gust of wind blew it over... ouch! the twiddly bit on the top snapped off on its "axle" - now I can't get any response from anybody on a price for repair
