I was lucky enough to attend the two day sUSB Expo in San Francisco recently. Wow! Wow! Wow! It was just fantastic. Quite a few of the presentations have been put online if you want to check them out.

I also wrote a bit about it on my blog at http://dazza.id.au.

I really enjoyed watching the live stream, which stalls did you visit?
There were only about 9 or 10 there so it was easy to speak with them all. There were two workshops on day two that were 2 hours in length. One about Search and Rescue and another about Aerial Photography. They were held in a small room and there was a lot of interest in them.

I think next year they are going to schedule it differently so that more people can attend which will be great. But if you get the chance to be there or to watch the live stream it's well worth it. They also have put up some of the talks at https://www.youtube.com/user/sUASNews

Chris's presentation was a highlight, as was the previous talk from dronedeploy.com, this is where things are heading. The hardware and autopilots are pretty much 95% there, now the ecosystem can evolve around that. A really exciting time to be in the "drone" industry.

Such expo are always helpful. Thanks for sharing. I haven't gone through all of them, but it seems they are going to be fantastic.
