hi guys,

just like to share our newly opened website featuring our latest drone.
we've been selling drones for quite some time now to film production companies but now we are going global with our StormX8 copter which can lift up to 5D and fly up to 37min (unloaded).

Nice looking copter

From my point of view (and since you ask for comments), the size of the copter is nice for transport, but possibly too small, since components (especially the cam) are withing the propeller downwash which possibly will lead to problems (which I am sure you already resolved).

Also I do not like "37 min unloaded", since it is a misleading fact (sounds top notch), "15min loaded" is what people want to know (and is back to normal again).

Also "high efficiency motors", "self cooling", "rain proof" is ..., every open motor is "self cooling" and every motor is rain-proof, as brushless motors also work under water. Also the "high efficiency", ... if they would be "highly efficient" they would be smaller.

73km/h max flight speed (for how long can you go with that speed), 73km/h with the kind of propellers you use, deserves respect (but for me it would require a video).

Nevertheless a great copter, I just do not like the exaggerating marketing. Also the price seems resonable but also here, it would be nice to know what one gets for the denoted "starting" price.

actually if you look down in the specs it is mentioned 15min with its max payload (zenmuse and 5D) but we succesfully flight it with GH3/4 over 20min and even close to 25 with our prototype carbon modled gimbal which is almost 35% lighter than Zenmuse. test was done with 22000mAh tattu batteries for which we are res-seller.

appologize, we do not have yet much "marketing " videos with this drone.

for experts it is known that brushless have those rainproof characteristics but not always for general public and we actually specified it after getting so many times the question. especially that the body itself is rainproof (light rain). High efficiency of the motor is actually the opposite from our point of view. if the motor was not that efficient if would be bigger or would not allow those nice flight times. note that we have a "pro version" that we will propose with KDE 380kV motors.

for 73km/h... we will give you a video when we have some time but this was measured during one test and as all can guess this is top speed not cross country speed! :nevreness:

as for the starting price it includes the full body (no esc, no engine). our webstore will open early next week as we still have few items to add. then you will have the full prices and what you get for what price visible/clear :)
